Roast with Peppered Mushroom Gravy

4 cups uncooked pasta, cooked, drained

3 – 4 pounds pot roast, cooked, shredded

Melt butter in pan, med-high, saute shallots and mushrooms 4 min

  • 2 TB butter
  • 2 TB finely chopped shallots
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

Then add, and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly:

  • 1 tsp freshly minced garlic
  • 1 TB soy sauce
  • 1 TB worcestershire sauce
  • 3 TB flour

Add the following, cook 1 min, discard sprigs

  • all shredded beef
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 fresh thyme sprigs

Serve over the cooked pasta.
