Corn and Sausage Chowder

Brown, Drain in stock pot:

  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 1 cup onion, chopped

Add, Bring to boil, simmer until potatoes are tender

  • 4 cups potatoes, diced
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Add, heat until almost boiling:

  • 2 cups fresh corn, cooked on the cob (about 2 cobs)
  • 1 cup fresh corn, pureed in blender with 1/2 cup cream, 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1  12oz canned milk
  • 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
