Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup

Boil

  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp chicken seasoning
  • 1 cup rice

Add, cook 10 minutes

  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup rice

Add, cook 15 minutes

  • 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 2 TB minced onion
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 3 cooked, shredded chicken breasts

In separate bowl add, and stir to make paste:

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 10 TB flour
    Then add 2-3 cups milk for your desired consistency

Add the butter/flour/milk to the soup, cook 2 more min to reach a simmer.
