Tortillas

  • 4 ½ cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup shortening
  • 1 ½ cup warm water

Mix and knead. Let set for about 30 minutes. Separate into 8-12 balls/ Roll flat and cook on a cast iron skillet with no grease.
