Creme Brulee French Toast

Melt 1/2 cup of butter, 1 cup packed brown sugar, amd 2 tablespoons light corn syrup in a saucepan.

Place 6 slices of Texas toast side by side in the pan.

Beat and Blend:

  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 salt (optional)

Pour evenly on top of bread. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes uncovered.
